“

This has been my first experience of being employed through a recruitment agency, but not my first experience of consulting and liaising with a recruitment consultant.

I have had many experiences of trying fill vacancies and feeling that the recruitment agent on the other line, does not to know the prospective candidate, or the organisation that they are trying to recruit to.

At the very first contact, my consultant was polite, informative, thorough, consistent and reassuring. She was organised and appeared to know the organisation, the recruiting Managers and the level and standard of work that was required.

Although I was immediately successfully in being placed, my CRB took forever, which was frustrating and soul destroying.

My consultant called every day, sometimes twice a day, just to cheer me up and keep me going and to remind me how skilled I was and that I would be a valuable asset to the organisation and shouldn’t be disheartened.

Looking back I don’t know how I would have maintained hope without my consultant’s cheerful voice on the other end of the line!

It is a pleasure to be able to write such positive things about a recruitment consultant. The assumption is that they tend to treat potential employees a bit like cattle, just trying to fill the next gap in vacancies.

My consultant is a far cry from this "assumed" fantasy. She has always maintained a sunny disposition always rings you back and genuinely seems to care about your specific employment needs and how they match those of the organisation.

My consultant even arranged a follow up meeting with my current Manager to see how the contracted work placement was going, that was impressive and the feedback from my Manager was that this alone would encourage him to use my consultant and her team again.

I would definitely use my consultant and the team again in the future and have been 100% happy with the service I have received.

I have worked with Academy for a period of nearly four months. During this time, I have found my contact to be engaging, confident and a consultant that I have been able to establish a very good rapport with. They are always available to discuss any issues with and extremely organised, as telephone calls / e-mails and other methods of communication have been responded to within an excellent and helpful timescale.

Academy have excellent ‘people’ skills; I have felt able to and sought out support from my consultant prior to attending an interview, right through to employment / assignment. They are very professional in their approach and provide detailed and informative guidance in relation to assignments.

Very quickly, Academy were able to identify my strengths and experience and match these with assignments that were most suitable for both me and employer. Academy has very good knowledge of social work and current issues within social work. It is clear that Academy takes an active interest in their area of employment, above and beyond what is clearly required of their role.

As a team, Academy have very good communication skills and can demonstrate that they are able to address any concerns quickly, with positive outcomes. Academy is able to discuss assignments, with praise and constructive criticism. Above all, Academy are empowering, trustworthy and competent.

In my experience, the service provided by Academy was of a high quality. There were some complications in the recruitment process, not attributable to Academy, but throughout they were ble to keep us informed of the changing situation and the result was a successful placement.

“ Synarbor presented at a couple of seminars for us at the recent Nursery World Show. The topic covered was the new Vetting and Barring Scheme and the Independent Safeguarding Authority (ISA).

The seminars were well attended by early years professionals employed throughout the country in a number of settings. The feedback received was extremely positive and we’ve already received requests from delegates hoping to attend future events.

The subject covered is harrowing but Synarbor managed to deliver in such a way that they even introduced a little laughter. The sessions were wholly interactive and it’s true to say that all delegates left feeling far better informed than when they arrived. Voice would like very much to work with Synarbor in the future and has no hesitation in recommending Synarbor for speaking/training/workshop facilitator. Inspiring! ”
