Safeguarding

We at Synarbor attach great importance to the quality of our registration procedure and are guided by the GSCC & ISO.

We regularly demonstrate that we meet stringent standards of good practice in managing and providing supply staff to a variety of clients.  In order to maintain these standards we have a Compliance Department which is solely dedicated to processing all candidates who wish to register with us. We know that by thus clearing candidates centrally we apply consistently high standards of vetting across the board.

Synarbor is committed to Safeguarding and promoting the welfare of vulnerable adults, children and young people and expects all supply staff to share this commitment.

All candidates are thoroughly screened on the telephone and, if successful, are invited to attend a competency based interview conducted by a fully trained Synarbor professional. The interview process lasts for approximately one hour and covers in great detail the candidate’s work history, core competencies, flexibility of the candidate and Synarbor’s expectations of the candidate.

For our client’s peace of mind, we issue a letter confirming all the checks we have carried out showing the candidate is suitable to work.  Should a candidate’s CRB Disclosure have information contained within it, we inform our clients of the matter and provide a copy of the certificate should they request it.

Every care is taken to ensure the candidate is fully aware of our policies and understands their responsibility in adhering to them.
We also advise that every candidate is fully aware of the need to adhere to the policies and procedures of each placement they attend.

Vetting


We give you peace of mind by knowing that candidates placed through us have been 100% vetted by our dedicated compliance team. For each candidate, we check, complete and keep on file the following:



- Current CRB DISCLOSURE / Home Country Police Clearance if less then 3 months in the UK.
- 2 proofs of address (last 3 months) i.e. utility bill, bank statement, etc.
- All References & last 5 years employment history (written or complete registration form with referee details)
- Driving licence, proof of MOT, Insurance Certificate and ownership.
- Birth certificate / certificate of naturalisation
- Change of name documents (i.e. Marriage Certificate) if applicable
- Eligibility to work in the UK. EEC Passport. Visa or Work Permit Details.
- Certificates of qualifications
- Proof of registration with GSCC / HPC/ GTCE
- National Insurance Card
- Bank Details
- Fully completed Registration form & T’S & C’S
- Checked against List 99
- ID card produced for every cleared candidate
